Ok, here's the disc of Mad Prof's dubs. I had to split it into two uploads b/c of file size: www.sendspace.com/file/mij869www.sendspace.com/file/9y3c0g(edit) Unfortunately, I wasn't able to rip disc one (the remastered album). My external cd drive keeps ejecting the disc part way through the title track. I'm not sure if it's a fault in the disc, or my cd drive (this has happened with a few other cd's as well) The cd's are also black - and not silver - so that could also be the problem. I'll try ripping it again later on another computer...

BIG THANKS for this one joethelion! It is nice to finally have the full set of these Mad Professor DUBs as they were intended. Anyone know why they didn't just get released in full after the success of "Mezzanine"? Why wouldn't the label want some filler a la No Protection considering how long it took for 100th Window to see the light of day.

Thanks joethelion. I'm actually travelling to the desert in Morocco at the moment so won't be able to make these dowloads until Saturday at the earliest. I'll be on it as soon as I get home - I appreciate the uploads.
Unklefloyd: I only remember one of MA (probably Robert) saying they decided against the release because they didn't want to repeat the same thing with No Protection. It's a pretty shitty attitude considering Mad Professor went out his way to remix their whole album again and people would obvious want to hear it. To not release the full body of work and just have it sit for 20 years is typical of why I can't stand their attitude.

It's weird that they asked Mad Professor to do the remixes, then not release them. He would have still got paid though? Well at least he'd get paid for the few they released.
Yeah, I bet the Massive Attack guys are a nightmare to work with.

Remember that this is the same group that scapped a whole album to then make Heligoland. Rob didn't like the material after playing it live and just abandoned a whole album to start again. He or they might have been fed up of the Mad Professor remixes nearer release.

I wonder if that means both the LP & the CD are being withdrawn... because I think the x2 cd was also labeled as a "special edition"
IF they are cancelling both, and just releasing the Mad Prof dubs as it's own thing - it really does seem to point to an issue with credits/licensing and not something having to do with the design, as I mean... the x2cd exists!
It's crazy to think that this re-release was supposed to come out in November 2018.
