I went for the "hand written lyrics sheet of my favourite Blackalicious song" (Rhymes for the Deaf Dumb and Blind), which I think was the coolest stuff of the lot. Some backers got theirs, apparently it was only one verse + chorus, but on a facsimile!!! I cant believe that, how lame! A xerox copy? Yeah that's what I've been reading about. Cheeky fuckers! If done properly it would have been a really cool thing to have. Absolutely. Those dudes aren't that busy these days to knock that out. Come on now.

On another note, it looked like Blackalicious were selling crud from their closets. Old promo CDs and posters from the Nia era? ...although the Swan Lake cassette and 12" was pretty cool.

For Your pleasure pictures of "headz headz headz" 7" have been added on Discogs. Thanks! How does it feel to know how jealous we all are? One of those items I don't even consider being possible to own. Another thing, what's up with this message on the Discogs listing? It's not as if it's going to immediately be up for sale. Just had a look, the Swan Lake 12" is available shrink-wrapped for £10 online. These musician dudes are shady at times.

Hi, Pretty strange regarding the Discogs block - I've asked the Discogs support team but they closed the ticket without any further notice!?!! nivo I have seen this happen before on Discogs. Usually in cases where record labels (or copyright) owners try to block the sale of their catalog in certain markets. I don't know if this stems from someone claiming to own MoWax (i.e. JL) or The Prunes who have made a legal request. Perhaps the talk of a reissue got someone spooked. Who knows.

Nivo's Discogs account has been closed. www.discogs.com/user/nivo77What the hell is happening with this 7"? Is this James' revenge on us for being rude to him? the fuhz , did the FBI knock on you door this morning?

Discogs is a site to catalogue and buy/sell records. That's all he was doing, except I doubt he was even trying to sell it. I'd be incredible surprised if anyone from Mo'Wax or Universal gave a shit. Unless The Prunes are more powerful than we think and they've just noticed they were ripped off or something? Very strange.
What's going down Nivo?

Must be someone from the MW camp. It's not The Prunes.

That's bloody weird though, Mo'Wax doesn't even exist anymore. Why would they care about this listing?
Had a little look around and this type of blocking has happened in a few other unexplained places too. Perfectly legal CD singles just blocked. Other bits like punk singles with swastikas on the cover make a little more sense.
I've noticed the listing for Hotline has gone too.

the fuhz , did the FBI knock on you door this morning? Ha no. But let me reiterate... I want nothing to do with a bootleg. Whoever legally owns the music should give the green light on these. It was my understanding that MW no longer owner the rights to this music. I've noticed the listing for Hotline has gone too. There is no doubt that it is James or one of his associates.

Maybe. But that really sucks though, very petty. Who cares what happens to some old bits of plastic from 20 years ago? What difference does it make to them? Is it usual for records companies to be like this?
But why block/delete some entries and forget about Z*** A****? Or is that just a matter of time?
I don't get it.

But why block/delete some entries and forget about Zone Alone? Or is that just a matter of time? I don't get it. Who else could it possibly be? HEY GUYS, YOU FORGOT ABOUT 'ZONE ALONE' , 'PROFUNDO', AND 'YOU KNOW WE ROLL'.

Post self-censored, just in case.
Is this what the Psychonauts LP on Mo'Wax isn't listed on Discogs?

Post self-censored, just in case. Is this what the Psychonauts LP on Mo'Wax isn't listed on Discogs? No. I do not think any fans who use discogs actually own a copy, or bothered to list it. ...I have sides A/B, but no tracklisting sheet.

True, with there being so few of them, it's not all that likely to be listed. I've got a few bits not on Discogs, just never got around to putting them up. So I can understand.
The real crime is these records not being ripped and shared.
