Here's the link for when the show goes live: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bdckqrNo mention of Tim though. "Mark Radcliffe chats to musician, DJ and founder of the Mo'Wax record label James Lavelle. He set up the label in 1992 and released DJ Shadow's pioneering debut album 'Entroducing...' as well as a host of trip hop and hip hop acts and albums. Collaborating with DJ Shadow under the moniker UNKLE, James also enjoyed huge success with the release of UNKLE's debut album 'Psyence Fiction'. That album, which featured guest vocals from the likes of Richard Ashcroft, Thom York and Ian Brown, celebrates its 20th anniversary this month! James' life and career is also the subject of new documentary film 'The Man From Mo'Wax', out later this month. He joins Mark to reflect on his life in music."

I did assume that 'Tim' was a mistake, but how cool would it be if it was true! It would be mad, as he didn't want anything to do with the film they're promoting. If anyone's interested, listen back to this show and hear what he says after playing Reign. 22 mins 50 seconds in www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bbtkkq

Hey guys, at last we're having the massive anniversary party, including a live performance of the album with ALL the original singers and musicians. It's in ten minutes, see you there.

Yeah, that's probably it. I must say it did seem unlikely.

The interview is online now www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bdckqrThere's a few awkward questions, but it was quite good. The bit about Top Of The Pops is interesting. Also, do you think we'll get a new Unkle album this year if they're playing a mix of new stuff at the doco's premiere?

I got the feeling Mark Radcliffe didn’t buy James. Very interesting to hear JL say that Shadow’s ego got too big...
Do we believe that?

Thank you! You can tell James is torn about the documentary, but he is actively promoting it. For those of you that have seen it..what are your thoughts coming from a true fan’s perspective and not just the classic documentary “rise, fall, rise” narrative? What surprised you?

I was surprised to learn that Shadow had nothing to do with “Be There”. Am I the only person who can hear similarities to “Unreal”...
I wish that Radcliffe had asked him about the Psyence Fiction reissue.
