ha - I can well imagine! Just seeing them photographed or on the FACT video seemed a bit odd, but seeing them "in the flesh" would have been a whole other thing altogether I'm sure. I did intend to get down to see the exhibition before it closes, but that doesn't look likely at all now. I could well be down London-way briefly at various points in July/August though as I have some videos to shoot of customer sites in central London. I know Kingston pretty well as it was the other place I used to frequent regularly when I was down a lot (green and black era). I used to stay in Putney so Beggars and Soul Brother took a lot of my spare time (and money) when I wasn't digging through Reckless etc. up town. August would be superb mate - I'll let you know when I'm London bound too so hopefully we can arrange a meetup at home and away Your based in Kingston? I always assumed you were based at "have passport, will travel (as long as the destination is cool with something exceptionally cool to do once I get there)" This post is dedicated to alcohol: "the great loosener"

Ah, the drug of truth! I daresay I'll be up when you're down and vice-versa, but we will endeavour to sort something out! I'm not that much of an international jet-setter, just carving out a niche in southwest London for myself for a decade. Then I'd like to make a major move, but not too much flitting in between. Really enjoying Kingston, pretty rough and ready, good lifeblood of students, gorgeous riverfront, quick hop to Waterloo, cheaper rents. Life could be much much worse. Enjoy the sunshine!

I'm pretty flexible (not yoga-related) so should be able to ensure that the times don't clash in August. Yeah, I liked Kingston too - an excellent place for niche carving, I agree. I'm pretty much dedicated to the South Yorks to be honest. I get down to London a few times a year, but there aren't as many attractions there that there used to be for me these days and time is generally at a premium, unfortunately. Ah, to be young and care-free* *who am I kidding? "Youth is wasted on the young" etc.

I emailed thanking them for the evening but I was disappointed about not getting the tour... They apologised and have sent the below to everyone...
I also asked if any merchandise would be available. No answer on that one.

Thanks so much to you all for helping us celebrate the launch of the exhibition last week - it was great to meet you and hopefully you all enjoyed the evening.
Apologies that the exhibition tour was unable to take place as promised - but we wanted to make time for signings with James and Ben, which most of you seemed really happy with. However we're sorry if any of you were disappointed with this, but hopefully you got a chance to say hi to the guys and discuss the show regardless, as I know many of you did. If any of you have any specific questions which you wanted to ask James about the archive, and didn't get a chance to ask on Thursday, then please let us know!
Thanks again for supporting James with this project - it hasn't been easy - and we'll be in touch as soon as we can regarding the Psyence Fiction re-release.
Thanks

Awesome. I look so happy-drunk. Is that a tiny little Andrea Parker over my shoulder?
