I remember seeing these about a month ago. They are huge sticker clear sheets for adding printed graphics to the shell of your laptop. I'm was just thinking about how bad ass a powerbook with some Futura artwork slapped on the back of it.
The article mentioned a site where you can send a high res gif, jpg, tif or eps and they will make a decal / sticker for your laptop similar to the whole HP iPod Tattoos. Anyone else ever see something like this or was it just a figment of my internet-enabled imagination?
In the meantime I'm going to get back to practicing my Pointmen and atom drawing...

sticky back plastic will run through a fax machine, so you just need to find a convenient fax machine and send your pointman design to it.
cant say i recommend stickers on a pale laptop though. i had a few on my ibook, they looked good to start with, but then they always peel a little at the edges, dust and fluff gets in there, and they look horrible. and then they're a real bitch to peel off again without leaving loads of glue residue.
