Still the rest of the trailer looks promising...

Let the catfight begin....
P.S: Punisher... yep, not the best movie but a good DVD rentout to chill with a beer and some crisps...

I presume you are not from Britain? Beer and crisps can be EVERYTHING here: A romantic dinner, quality time, breakfast... ;D

I couldn't be more excited for this film. It should be called: Batman Done Right
Christian Bale is awesome. Even though the bar has definitely been raised for Super Hero films, I can't say I've been thrilled with all of them. X-Men was far too watered down for all audiences. Daredevil was a disgrace for so many reasons I won't even begin to list them. Spider-Man was similar to the X-Men movies, but the second one was all out good comic book madness. I loved The Hulk, but I understand why it was such a disappointment to so many. This Batman movie is the only one so far that comes anywhere close to the image of Frank Miller's Batman. It's gonna blow your minds.

Thought the Hulk was superb, Daredevil, so so piss poor, a massive fan of the spiderman film tho, looking forward to part 3. On a similar topic, I have recently bought a book about the artwork of Alex Ross called Mythology: The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1840238828/qid=1103538670/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_3_1/202-3346568-1781436This is a superb book, I am only new to this but this book is a superb indroduction to thsi type of work and the images are mind blowing!! I strongly advised to buy it!!

I would love to get that Alex Ross book for Christmas. So happy you enjoyed the Hulk. I've spent many a weary day putting up with all forms of verbal abuse for enjoying that one.

saw Hulk tonight, coincidentally enough. Its let down a bit by the cgi, but it has a lot going for it - not the travesty it could have been and certainly not as bad i heard it was. X2 is a good superhero movie i thought. hope youve all had a great christmas

I agree with everything above. But give Daredevil some love... really liked the movie. Really don't know why everyone gives it so much shit. Never read the comics though...

Okay, I saw Daredevil in the theaters, and although I was entertained, I just did not get the same excitement that I get from the comics/graphic novels. It appeared to be thrown together very fast and although I hear the new uncut version is much better, I still feel like they were aiming to please the masses instead of the fans. I don't know if you have read Daredevil Origins, APE0NAUGHT, but pick it up if you haven't and tell me that they nailed that storyline. Top 3 complaints?
1. Kingpin is not black. (Although Michael Clarke Duncan had the right idea)
2. Elektra is an incredibly beautiful and deadly vixen with long flowing black hair and dark eyes. What's-her-name, although beautiful and talented, is pretty in the girl-next-door style and was in no way as bad ass as Elektra.
3. Believe me, I have really, really tried to like Ben Affleck, both unscreen and off, and I just don't. That aside, he is far too bloated and pastey to play the lean and agile Daredevil. And he looks like crap with red hair, too.
All in all, I felt like Daredevil was more of a push to promote Evanescence's new album. How many of their songs were in the movie? 2?

Yep, still he rocked. Can live with it.

Hmmmm... it think that s personal taste.

Must say: Loved Affleck!!!!!!
So in the end its about personal taste... guess now we know why DD did it more for me than for you;)
I just liked the dark mood of the movie and that it delivered although (or because!) I wasn't a big fanboy.
Oh, and Bullseye foookin' ROCKED!

<---Huge fanboy. So yeah, I understand. Bullseye was great. I think everyone can agree on that. Seriously, though, if you haven't read Frank Miller's Daredevil Origins, give it a go. It is not in any way juvenile and very brief. I'm sure it won't change your opinion on the film, I would seriously hope not, but it might give you something to look forward to if there is ever a sequel helmed by a different director and lead (this is what I have heard is to come). Always good to talk comic book movies.
