Just a heads up, in case you missed the Facebook announcement -> JL uploaded a set from the UNKLE residency back in 2001 www.mixcloud.com/UnkleOfficial/unkle-sounds-at-fabric-26th-january-2001/I thought it was going to be pretty standard for that time period (and I assumed it was going to be the same set as what JL shared on Soho Radio), but there's actually some great surprises! A few things I noticed when I had a chance to listen yesterday -> • "She's Lost Control" UNKLE Edit • an instrumental version of the "Battle" remix • an UNKLE edit of a Jimi Hendrix track • a few variations of "The Enemy" / "Narco Tourist" • At 1 hr 32 min ... I feel like I've read about this track, but assumed (at the time) it was just 'The Enemy' with a few different samples... • an UNKLE edit of Frank Sinatra's "fly me to the moon" plus, the usual edits of "Tomorrow Never Knows" "Everything In Its Right Place" "Eye for an Eye" etc etc

There’s a large part of me that thinks that the UNKLEsounds DJ sets with Rich from that period were the best thing James has been involved in.

Ohhh, I assumed it was just the FabricLive set. This is more interesting now!

I think I hear the UNKLE VIP remix of Narcotourist in there, then the UNKLE remix from the 12@ and then the original. I had forgotten how good it is. I haven't listened to the record for a long time though. I could be wrong.
I saw UNKLEsounds twice in this time period. The first time was brilliant, the second time was a bit boring.

Ok - I think I've got the track listing figured out...
I'm still not sure if the track between 'Kick a Hole' and 'Junk' is an Unkle thing, or someone else's track

is James trying to suggest to us that he’s doing a retro UNKLEsounds set @ Fabric next week or just reminding us of good times?

As far as dance mixes go. Rich's were the best. No question. Excellent taste and blends.

Does anyone have any info on that track between Forme - 'Kick a Hole' and Photek - 'Junk'?
It's just surprising to hear anything 'new' from this era.
