Can anyone help me find and buy an original Mark Gonzales Priest. I have been looking for one of these for years and have never had any joy.
I am already aware of the two astronomically priced ones for sale on eBay.
Thanks

There's astronomical prices and then there's unrealistic and a totally pointless auction (4 grand??!) The highest price I've seen one go for is around £350 on eBay.
There's just doesn't seem to be that many around these days and they've certainly gone up in value over the years.

Thanks for keeping the search alive Dusty, it's appreciated, it's also nice to know I'm not alone in thinking that the ones on eBay are ridiculously priced, I would be tempted to make the seller an offer but I don't think they would take to kindly to me asking for £3.5k off the asking price, no matter how unrealistic their valuation is.... if only I'd bought one when they were aplenty in Hideout all those years ago.. hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I saw it and immediately offered that seller the £85 rrp. The money-grabbing bastard declined for some reason.
I would also like to go back in time and buy a few when Jo @mo'Wax was threatening to throw a load in the bin. £85 was a lot of money to me as a teenager and it seemed a stupid thing to buy. Well it still is of course.

I think the only chance of grabbing one seems to be eBay these days (I've not seen any for sale recently on the various forums)
The few eBay auctions seem to reflect their current value, given their rarity etc so I would say the chance of getting one for their RRP about 10 years ago is also unrealistic. They're not going below 300 quid that's for sure.
I'd set up an email alert on ebay for them. One will come up (just like the last one on ebay) but I'm thinking that it could be a long wait (after all there are 100 painted ones so most will be locked up in people's collections!).. or maybe the seller of the 4 grand one will reduce his asking price is pointless and reduce it?!

if there's one thing that'll make your shelves look like those in lavelles office in that relax mag pic, it's the priest figure.

Well it still is of course. I bought one when Jo offered them up for sale back in the day (2002?) on the mowax boards. I think a few more forum users bought one, but some probably ended up in the trash. Such a painful thought! Anyway, I'll sell mine if you give me an offer I can't refuse I have the original box as well. I've seen some with stickers on them, but my box is just clean cardboard with styrofoam inside.

What, the one with a £3500 buy-it-now? Very tempting.
