No idea how to wrap up a thread into something properly postable, I'm afraid, so you'll have to read the nested Tweets.
FWIW, my thoughts are nested here:

That is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Is it true that the doc says that Shadow left UNKLE because Lavelle wanted to share the publishing? I thought that Shadow always said it was amicable, and that he just left because he preferred to work on his own.

I think Shadow is faithful and doesn't want to reveal the backgrounds of his leaving. I've been talking to a few of his former friends like Stan Green (The 8th Wonder), he said they argued at some point, that was when Solesides stole his artwork without crediting him. But that's not what Shadow told me, he said that Green became more involved into religion and their path split. I don't know what's the true story but I'm sure you can't grow in this industry without being fooled at some point.

Yeah, I didn't think it was about publishing at all - I thought it was more about him not wanting to spend weeks/months making intricate tracks for anyone other than himself (which is totally understandable!)

Speaking of breaking up, when’s the last time Shadow worked with the Quannum guys? It seems like he doesn’t work with all of them any more...

That's a good question! The last track he did with any of them must be so long ago now!

That's a good question! The last track he did with any of them must be so long ago now! The last one I can think of was on the Lateef album back in what 2011/12?

"Say What You Want" on Firewire? 2011! That was the only good track. I was thinking of Gabracadabra too, but that's 2007. I hope they haven't fallen out, they made some great tunes together.

Gab’s on the new Lyrics Born LP, and Latyrx have a new track on the deluxe reissue of Muzapper’s, Blackaclicious put out Imani a couple of years back and Lateef and Lyrics both guested. Of the original Blackalicious - Latyrx - Shadow lineup, Shadow’s the only one missing. Maybe his life diverged from theirs.

The rest of Quannum got old and boring. Shadow stays fr-fr-fr-fresh!
