I think the other non-mowax albums are great too. Especially "With The Tides'.

looking at the list is there anything special i'm actually missing that isn't on 'Overused', 'Here On In' or 'Art of War'? I think the other non-mowax albums are great too. Especially "With The Tides'. I love South. 'From Here On In' is a criminally underrated and overlooked album. 'With The Tides' was a solid followup too, however the albums that followed really dropped off. They veered towards a lovey-dovey pop sound that seemed tailored entirely for women listeners. The 'Overused' and 'Constantly Burning' compilations pretty much fill in all of the gaps. However, if you are a vinyl guy... Interim 10" EP (MWR 133) - Contains 'Save Your Sorrow'. This is it's only vinyl appearance. Keep Close 10" EP (MWR 144) - Contains 'Breaking Away'. This is it's only vinyl appearance. Ian Brown 'Dolphins Were Monkeys' - 12" promo (Polyfor DOLPH-3). Contains the UNKLE remix instrumental, which is essentially an instrumental South song. On another note. When UNKLE and South teamed up to make the original tracks for the Sexy Beast soundtrack, they only released 3 of the 6 tracks on vinyl. The catalog number on the 12"promo (Edel - SEXYPRO 1) leads me to believe there was supposed to be a second 12" with the remaining songs. ....where is 'SEXYPRO 2' ??

Ok - sorry to highjack the thread... but, speaking of South - does anyone have info on this release (I'm fairly certain someone here gave it to me)?
It's labeled as "4 Track Sessions" but - it has more tracks than on the 12", and it's definitely not just the 12" + the three 7"es...
1. Intro 2. Time to Riot 3. Dub Remedies 4. Run On Time 5. No Bones 6. Skit 1 7. I Know What You're Like 8. Torriano 9. Better Things 10. Skit 2 11. Mad Day 12. Sight of Me 13. Outro

any other info about the Manchester gig dusted dates ect Sometime in March 2001 at Night and Day. I can't remember to be honest. It's a long time ago. It's before the album came out. I saw them on that tour in Glasgow. I think there were 13 people in the crowd.

I saw them on that tour in Glasgow. I think there were 13 people in the crowd. I saw them in 2002 (Detroit, MI) and they had a similar setlist. They definitely opened with Broken Head and closed with an instrumental version of Dolphins. I recall asking Joel why he didn't sing the lyrics, and he said something to the effect of 'there is no way I could come close to what Ian can do'. I found that odd, because Joel is a better singer from a technical standpoint. I wonder if a vocal version exists.

I can understand why he wouldn't sing Ian's lyrics. It was a good way to finish a gig.
