Just been listening to old RATM and read this on wikipedia:
Following the disbandment of Rage Against the Machine, de la Rocha worked on a solo album he had been recording since before the band's dissolution, working with DJ Shadow, El-P, Muggs, Dan The Automator, Roni Size, DJ Premier, and The Roots' Questlove with production partner James Poyser.[17] The album never came to fruition
Anyone know if any of these tracks came out? Was march of death from that album?
Cheers?

This is still top of my 'great lost albums' list... Instrumental3 is still one of my favorite Shadow tracks.
Sessions for the solo album were also done with Trent Reznor - pretty sure like Josh, he's said the tracks will never see the light of day. Only thing that surfaced is: We Want It All
If you havent heard, his EP with the drummer from Mars Volta is pretty good too:

Nice surprise release. Produced by EL-P too.... Really enjoying this. Fingers crossed for an album sometime soon.
