I got thinking when James first issued photos of him delving into the storage unit displaying a treasure trove of MoWax goodies. Onto the Urban Archaeology and now the sale. I'm sure I read MoWax went bankrupt but haven't found anything specific to this. I'm positive James who was made bankrupt... Either way, all this treasure trove of MoWax goodies would have been part of the bankruptcy and should have been sold to pay off the creditors shouldn't it?
If not, who does it all belong to and who is getting the proceeds of this sale?
I know i'll never get the answers and not actually sure if i care, just curious....

Asking Lavelle that tonight or at the private view Monday could be quite the icebreaker...

Asking Lavelle that tonight or at the private view Monday could be quite the icebreaker... That is magnificent. I'm going to ask him if he's got any more marriages planned. And how the Unkle Movie is going. And why Sam Sever hates him.

That's exactly what I was referring to! Damn that unreleased LP. Shame James isn't selling off any of the really good stuff.

Mo'Wax would have been a limited company so this would offer James protection if the company went bankrupt. It would only be the assets of the company that are sold off and not his assets.

Yeah that what I mean. There's a good argument that much of this stuff in storage was part of Mo Wax. The prototypes, artwork, test pressings, back catalogue etc etc, you would have thought would be company assets. /shrug

Pablo and James setting up Toydrum makes even more sense now... Can you elaborate? Just in the sense that there is a lot of other stuff going on with JL that isn't about the music, which is what Pablo and JG are doing so well with Toydrum. I have no inside information on what is going on!
