Assuming it’s two discs, I would hope they don’t repeat what we’ve already heard, even if a lot of it is out of print. Berry Meditation, Garage Piano, Dewback all got official releases, ASNKA ended up on Nigo’s album, and a bunch of the LA sessions wound up on the MFW comp. The only released tracks not to get official releases in the west are the two instrumentals off the Japanese PF, and Rock On / Last Orgy.
As for live material, didn’t Shadow release the Unkle instore set as an official boot? The rest would be owned by the BBC, but they’re pretty good at licensing their stuff. I’d rather see video of the Channel 4 recording with Ian Brown - although that begs the question where the cut off is - are the Scratch Perverts live shows admissible?

Yes! A live Scratch Pervert DVD would be amazing. I agree, I don't want anything that we've already got. Any of the original b-sides would be great for casual fans, but much less interesting for us nutters. Just tonnes of old demos and unreleased remixes would be lovely. As many CDs as needed to contain EVERYTHING!

I would love a super deluxe edition, but surely Lavelle would have mentioned this by now. Unless we’re now aiming for the 30th anniversary.
I would prefer stuff we don’t already have, but are we the target market? There are probably loads of people out there who don’t have any of the rarer UNKLE tracks that were released elsewhere.

There are probably a lot of fans of the album that don't have/know about any of the other releases beyond the studio albums. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but for us lot, the chances of being disappointed are pretty high. And we've only got ourselves to blame.

Early demos, alternate versions, remixes and anything related as yet unreleased from the time would suit me (us all?) down to the ground. A visuals disc would please me. Lastly a bonus 5,000% Kubrick and a set of prototype Bape Play figures of Shadow knocking 7 shades out of James would be just peachy 😙

I assume this re-release goes beyond the Kickstarter and this is gonna be a wider release - wonder if the 7" will actually occur and what track might it be...

woah woah woah woah WOAH
OKAY... I get that Elliott Power is entitled to a test pressing b/c of his connection to UNKLE
but come on... it's insane that this is how we find out
+ I'm a bit unnerved that there's no acknowledgement of kickstarter... and, I mean - technically the album we pledged wasn't "Psyence Fiction 20th Anniversary Edition"
also, why am I totally spacing on what the poster looked like from the bundle? I only remember the black + silver camo print by Ben Drury
apparently I pledged for:
URBAN ARCHAEOLOGY SUPER BUNDLE: Thank you The Best of Mo'Wax Mix Poster / Sticker Pack Urban Archaeology T-shirt A Signed copy of the Kickstarter re-release of Psyence Fiction A Super Bundle Limited Edition Print (edition of 200) designed by Ben Drury

Why make 12" test presses for a CD reissue?
Still good news!

They haven't announced formats yet have they? Was it supposed to be a CD with a 7" picture disc?

Oh yeah, but I think it's more than that now. I'm hoping the Kickstarter hasn't been forgotten though. It's meant to release this year so hopefully they announce pre-orders and details soon.

I’m sure the Kickstarter orders will be fulfilled in a nice timely manner, before it inevitably gets a general release...
