JIZZ! Look like very similar dimensions to the Futura book. I hope so, that'll look sweet on a shelf.

I 'tweeted' Rizzoli with this message: "@mowaxofficial @rizzoli_Books is there an official date for the book yet? Would be great to have them at #urbanarchaeology" and the reply I got from rizzoli was.. "@astrobboy666 "Urban Archaeology: Twenty-One Years of Mo'Wax" is on sale September 9, 2014."

Didn't realize you were writing from the UK!"

The book is awesome, exactly the kind of thing I was expecting. Much bigger than I thought though.

Aaah, this takes me back to The Great War Stories Opening Method Debate of 2007... To unseal or not; how best to retain the vacuum packaging etc.
Can't think of anything worse than a dirty great smudge on a shiny new thing.

Yes there's quite some writing. I didn't have time to see everything but there's a long preface by Paul Bradshaw, words by James, Charlie Dark, and other artists and collaborators, and at the end there are mini interviews of a lot of people about how Mo' Wax influenced their life or career. I also noticed an article from DJ Mag or the Face (or whatever, can't remember) from 1994

is there NO writing in it? just pictures? Plenty to read. Good interview with Shadow & Lavelle and plenty of (small) contributions from various artists and contributors.
