Had a blast both nights, was good to meet old friends and new faces, chat shit and drink free beer.
Opening my case on Saturday night allowed me to experience the whole sweaty mess again and bizarrely there were still traces of the 'Build and Destroy' fragrance lingering in the mix.

It'll be released in Sept, ltd to 1000 I believe - depends on what it is released as, it would work as a room scent, but the tweets I've seen from Azzi Glasser seems to indicate it'll be a personal fragrance.
Bottom line is, it smelt nice. If the price is right, it'll do a good job making your flat smell classy.

I was concerned having scent pumped around the venue might be over bearing BUT I though it smelled great.

Shame I didn't get to meet everyone, I felt a bit lame asking people if I should know them or not. "hi, i might know you, what's your forum name..." I'm not great in that kind of social situation to be honest which I always kick myself for after events like that. Damn! You should have introduced yourself! I do remember saying to you that your girlfriend was very patient for coming along i just got back home this morning. I have to say it was fantastic meeting everyone that I did. A really great bunch of people. Beforehand, I was slightly concerned - it could have easily been an anorak / train spotting convention - and to some extent it was, but in a good way

Should've made more effort. The girlfriend enjoyed it. She's so used to me banging on about MoWax. She bought quite a few of my records for me for birthdays/xmas. I got her into street art so much she did her art school final piece on futura

Did anybody else spot this? What was once a 'holy grail' of the forum on full display! I thought it was kinda neat

Wow, how did I not notice that! One of my favourite little bits, was the letter from George Lucas giving Josh and James directions to his house. This was probably to discuss the Star Wars remix album (mentioned on the recent Benji B show ). Damn shame that never happened.

With so many peeps not meeting up, maybe we could organize something on some weekend? Like a proper U77 meet up?

Have we not been down this road before? I'm all for a lash-up, but the logistics scuppered Pointfest planning last time round. Wasn't there some talk of hiring a venue, getting all many people as possible to play out etc?
I would suggest a Northern affair (Manc or Leeds) to get Doc, Tink, SupSur et al. involved

Why wasn't this done the weekend of the exhibition and Unkle gig?
Not sure I'm up for another 24hr flight quite so soon.

I keep forgetting to mention - when I revisited the exhibition after the launch I was happy to see they put perspex over the canvases. It was honestly disturbing me that anyone could touch/deface them. Those are history and worth a small fortune.
