Thought id start an official FAQ thread regarding the many Unklesounds mixes that have been released. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask them.
<<< OFFICIAL UNKLESOUNDS RELEASES >>>
Do Androids Dream of Electric Beats [3cd]
The first of UNKLESounds Mixes.
This was bootlegged to bits and can be found in most HMV's. Bootleg version will contain any/all of the following:
- slightly thicker sleeve
- barcode on sleeve
- catalogue number 'CMB50'
- colour on sleeve is brighter
- writing on the discs is in white - not silver
Do Androids Dream of Essential Beats [2cd]
This was the mix done for BBC Radio 1's [UK] show, The Essential Mix
Throw Down Mix [1cd]
This was a mix done for the [original] release party of Never, Never Land in Fabric, London.
Where The Whild Things Are [1cd]
This was used for the One World show, that is also on BBC Radio 1.
Comes in two versions, the green/silver version was given away as a prize as part of a Japanese tobacco promotion, the white/black sleeve is the standard version.
Edit Music For A Film [1cd]
This was given out for free at UNKLE live show at the ICA, London as part of their After Dark programme.
This has just been bootleg and can be bought in HMV.
The original has 1 cd, and the boot has 2.
The handwritten text on the back cover may or may not be on the sleeve - it was part of a promotion.
Edit Music For A Film [2cd]
Re-release of this mix has 2 cds and is NOT a bootleg.
This version contains a 'less edited' version of the original 1cd mix along with loads of unheard musical delights.
NOTE: The 2CD bootleg of 'Edit Music...' mentioned above uses the same artwork as the 1CD edition but contains 2CDs, the official 2CD version has the following artwork.

<<< UNOFFICIAL UNKLESOUNDS RELEASES >>>
Big Brother is Watching [2cd]
Unofficial CD containing the BBC Radio 1 Unkle Essential Mix
WWIII [2cd]
Another unofficial CD containing 2 unkle mixes.
The first is the Unkle VIP Throwdown Mix (which can be seen in its official form above) and the second is the Scratch Perverts NME live show from 1999.
Edan Mix / Edan Set [5cd]
Little is known about the origins of this set, but is is not official.
It is what's said to be the cds James used when he was playing at
the Edan Festival but this is unconfirmed.
CDs contain mp3s of various bitrate/quality - some are ripped out of live
sets. I would guess the set was put together by a fan and not James.
