I Thought for those who know very little about the rareness of UNKLE/DJ Shadow Merchandise and Music (I include myself here) there should exist easy access to information about merchandise ect.
And thought perhaps some people in this forum could give some helpful tips in order to authenticate UNKLE/DJ Shadow merchandise so that fans who may own such products can verify what they own and also for people that may be looking/bidding for such products on for example Ebay or buying of other fans Know What to Look Out For....
Tips like
* How to distinguish between Originals and Fakes i.e Markings * How much people should be expected to pay * How many of a particular product exist and if Limited; to how many * How many varieties exist of a particular product i.e. Promos/Imports
ect...
Just answers that would help people (like me) who perhaps are unwise to the UNKLE Collecting World and to help safeguard against costly mistakes... that might exist just round the corner!
* So feel Free to give advice!

i am currently working on somethign similar to that. a definitive list of mowax records and all information ive collected over my time on every record.
its slow going, but its progressing.
as for prices, thats hard to do - sermad tried it on his site, but prices of stuff is so dependant on what people are willing to pay its not a fair guide.
i would say that most mowax records are worth no more than £15 except the obvious rare ones. most are not rare at all in terms of how many are out there... just rare due to where people live. - so those people who find them hard to get will pay more for them than say someone who spends everyday looking in record stores in london.
if you have any questions on any mowax records/unkle records - just ask

moggo, the buttons that are under "Add Tag:" when you post are definately there to help you. basic ones are [ url ] for linking and [ img ] for images. (I added spaces or it wouldn't show them, just removed them to get them to work. Follow up the link with a [ /url ] or [ /img ] and presto, instant linking. Start off with the buttons and when you build up your 1337 h4x0r skillz you'll learn that they could do more too.
To summarize: Link: [ url ]http://below.me [ /url ] Img: [ img ]http://below.me [ /img ]

I think some sort of tutorial would be a good idea ? Not a massive thing just a rough idea of what the icons and buttons do etc for the new members

True but some sort of price guide, or how rare things really are would be useful.
Especially as most things UNKLE related on Ebay are "ultra rare" and expensive.
I could easily get ripped off!
But yes you are right...people here are very knowledgable and friendly!
