Me again, done a bit more research, they are obviously fakes on ebay, pretty good ones though!! So depends on how fussy you are about it, somehow I don't think Nigo needs the extra money!!

In fact just had a look and I found four of the 2004 camo jackets from £80 to £100, they all say they are genuine but there's obviously no way to check that. I'm pretty tempted. One of the sellers has 9 of them brand new and is offering full refund if your not satisfied they are real. Maybe worth a look. As a general rule, the BAPE stores will refuse to sell you more than one of any item to prevent people flogging stuff on Ebay and similar. If someone has several of the same item then they're almost definitely a fake.

Yeh, I had gathered they were fakes. Funnily enough though I just spoke to a friend of mine who imports some clothing but mostly toys from Japan and he said your better off buying the fakes as the quality is normally better than the real ones!!

A BATHING APE 61 Greene St. ... I took the scenic route home and passed by there. I twas an empty store front. Unless I had the address wrong from memory, It's not open yet. The article said the fall, and I don't know how much more fall you could get than end of November... but whatever. I just want a more direct means to some UNKLE schtuff, and maybe I'll hock some of it for 3x the price on eBay, let me know if your from UNKLE77 and maybe you'll get a discount ^_^ Back to Kid Robot... the 1000X Pointman WILL BE MINE!

Yeah, they're not big on advertising there location - keep things dicreet (Apart from every NERD video being like a bape commercial)
I've seen a load of the launch t-shirts for the NYC store for sale at HK concept shop - mainly Statue Of Liberty related stuff - but they've had them in for weeks so assume the store's been open for a while now if they've made there way over to HK.

but why would you want to buy fake one? why buy a real one? if its the same cut & design, the logos the same and the build qualities better, why not buy a fake?!

It's complete bollocks that the bootleg tee's are better quality - they shrink, fade, peel, etc a whole lot faster. They are also often poor, less comfortable cuts. The labels are not perfect, and easy to spot if you know what to look for. The material and printing techniques of official bape tee's are of an extremely high standard and will last a lot longer.
I have seen plenty of fakes in tokyo and own several authentics, the difference is just like any other pirate - buy a dodgy video of the street, it wont be as good quality.
I can't understand why someone would want a shitty fruits of the loom t shirt with the label replaced just to try and look cool in front of their friends...if your gonna bother then support the brand, don't fund further ebay knock offs.

Score one for F00!!! I was walking around again... determined to se what was up with this Bape store on Green St. and after going by 61 Greene, I made sure I was at the right place and to see if there were any signs of the Bape store, past ot future. I found nothing... then when walking home I saw a store being worked on with these big camo couches and it peaked my interest. Low and behold there was the Bape Logo on the window. A Bathing Ape "Busy Work Show" and the logo were decaled/etched on the window. I had found it. The article must have had a typo because the address is 91 Green Street. After taking a few pictures with my phone a guy came out and started talking to me about the store. "Foot Soldier" shoes will be upstairs, Clothing and items on the first floor. The place is wire up to accomodate in-store events such as live DJ sets. I was floored. Important: It opens December 12th. Mark that 2004.12.04 ... got it! After our little chit chat and tour he gave me this, and I was on my way. I have 2 pics of the store exterior on my cell but my data cable is being a bitch. I'll try to have them as soon as possible.

UNKLE x BAPE tees are at least £75, last time I saw them onsale was at the ICA unkle exhibition, good luck finding those now.
I just want to clear up that 'concept shop' is a store in Hong Kong that sells bape clothing, it is not an official Bape store (although entire reputable).
BAPE in London is extremely easy to find, just off Beak street is a road called upper st. james street - BAPE is pretty much next door to hideout (tees start at £50, bapesta trainers £120).
