Part of their cover story on the new issue, '354 Albums To Blow Your Mind.'
I'm not going to share too much of what is said as it sounds like Q is going to cease business after the next issue and maybe, just maybe if loads of people go out and buy a copy of this issue it will keep going (although I'm not sure where people can get magazines what with places like WH Smiths still shut) but James shares 3 albums he recommends during lockdown, by Air (not the French one), Tom Brock and Young Disciples. Its only one page in the magazine and it doesn't give any hints about what is going on with UNKLE but you might enjoy reading it.

I stopped buying Q after about 15 years when it started to be exactly the kind of magazine you described above. 100 best this. 200 greatest that. 50 bands you MUST see. I think when mags go like that they must be trying to rely on more people picking up random issues rather than subscribers. It was getting slimmer and slimmer from what I seen too. It’s had a decent run.

There's already a newer issue out and they say they'll be back next month too, so I think they'll be OK. You can read it free via Press Reader (you may need to log in with your Library Card etc) www.pressreader.com/uk/q-uk/20200602/page/83Here's a pic...

I don’t think there is a newer issue out, seeing as this one only came out 4 days ago...

I dont know if they can blame the pandemic on this? More like the decline in print media over the past 10+ years. Still, it's a pity as it was a cool mag.
