The easy route: 6 versions of Rabbit from the single All the remixes from the Japanese Be There single The street and acapella Guns Blazing Instrumental of The Knock VIP of Celestial
The less easy route that'll make Lavelle some cash but still won't take much effort: All the pre-PF tracks - time has come, berry, garage piano, Dewback, ape, orgy 3 and rock on
Least likely because it would involve effort: Instrumentals of PF Demos and other unreleased bits from the sessions
Also unlikely: Rich's remixes of the PF tracks from the Androids mix

...and there are those "new" remixes of Unkle tracks (like the King Unique mix of "Rabbit...")
but you know - I probably wouldn't even want those anymore
What I'd love to have is - all those "Bellmundo" songs they recorded.

What dimensions are the prints? its A3 Wait so why are the prints listed in one bundle as being worth 50 quid and 100 quid in the super bundle if they are the same print numbered 300 and 200 respectively?

Because they're incompetent.
This is really taking the piss now. I wonder how that chap who bought the 'complete set of the Mo'Wax back-catalogue on vinyl' is getting on?

Dear All I want to thank you for what was an amazing year last year and your contribution to helping the Mowax book and Meltdown exhibition be such a success. I wanted to write to you to apologise for the fact that Psyence Fiction still has not been released. Due to the overwhelming amount of work that went in to Meltdown, the book and various exhibitions, Psyence Fiction had to be put back. I am now working with DJ Shadow on compiling what I think will be the ultimate edition. On a positive note, due to the process of going through the archive for the past year and a half it has allowed myself to unearth great unreleased never before seen material to create what I hope will be the ultimate package. We will be unveiling release plans over the next couple of months. I really really appreciate your understanding and patience. I can’t wait to share the various things we have coming up this year. Thank you for your continued support. With Love, James Lavelle

Beat me by seconds! Can't help but get a little excited about this. Really glad James got Josh involved, it would be crazy not to. Especially as he's now in the country. Hope they uncover some gems.

No doubt! With Shadow on board I think it will meet expectations for sure. Personally, I would love to hear the demos.

I wonder how different the 'Kickstarter' version will be from the one they'll inevitably make commercially available...
(Because that's what I'd do)

Not trying to piss on anyone's cornflakes here, but as far as the MUSIC goes, think back to the deluxe version of Endtroducing and maybe temper expectations a little?
Both Drums of Death tracks were issued as instrumentals in Japan; Rabbit was instrumental on the single; Celestial Annihilation VIP is pretty much an 'instrumental' since the orchestra is (mostly) removed; Thanks to an UNKLE77 friend, most of us have heard instrumentals of Bloodstain, Nursery Rhyme, and Chaos, plus the versions of Guns Blazing, Unkle Main Title Theme, Unreal and Nursery Rhyme played on tour.
When you look at that list, unless there are some true missing songs, expect no more than sample-less versions of Main Title Theme and Unreal with a true instrumental of Lonely Soul (as opposed to the elements on the Ian Brown Test Pressing) and you may be pleasantly surprised, or you may get exactly what you expect.
That said, it was never pinned down how many discs would be included, simply that it's a deluxe CD reissue. If it's the PACKAGING that's deluxe and there's only one CD, they have about 25 mins of space to fit bonus material. If it;s two CDs then I already have enough material from the tour vinyl and test pressing and singles to fill 2 CDs with alternate takes and instrumentals; 3 discs with officially issued remixes and the acapellas... but who knows?
What I think would work well is something along the lines of what Spiritualized did for their reissue of 'Ladies and Gentlemen...' where they took demos and sessions and combined them, making a whole new experience as a song went from solo demo for the intro to a string session for the first verse, then added the choir for the chorus and turned into an almost complete, slightly earlier take for the rest of the song. It was a much better listening experience than five versions of the same track, each 6 minutes long. I figure with the amount of elements involved in PF, if they got the multitrack tapes back, something like that could work well.
My fingers are crossed, but I won't be surprised if it's a single CD with 20 minutes of extra material in a VERY nice case...

That Spiritualized re-issue sounds great.

The only consolation is that Shadow is at least involved otherwise we would have just ended up with B Sides and Instrumentals that alot of us already own I am sure.
What will make the KICKSTARTER Edition any different from what will be released remains to be seen - it better not just be it comes with a 7" vinyl ...

my hypothesis:
1) the kickstarter edition wont be any different to the one that's sold elsewhere. we'll get it at the same time as public release, if not later. 2) it will not contain any tracks we've not already got 3) the packaging will not be better than that of the japanese limited edition gatefold version.
