Thanks for the link, Matt.
Should tide me over until my official download email arrives...
Anyone else still waiting? How about the 'survey' email for the t-shirt sizing etc?

I thought this compilation (can't call it a mix as very few tracks were) was really poor.
Considering the source material JL has access to plus a tone of stuff we have probably never heard he could have made this special.
Really disappointed with this..... give me the key to the vault and I shall maketh something better :-)

So the mix has leaked and the official social channels are linking to it. Bit of a middle finger to those people who only pledged to get it, isn't it?

I'm just now getting around to listening to this...
...why the hell does "Alphabet Aerobics" sound so shitty. Like, it sounds like a 128kbps mp3.
You would think they'd use lossless files for something people pledged for.
and I'm kinda surprised that there isn't some sort of mash-up of "Rabbit..." and that one Shadow track
...Although I wouldn't say that this is a horrible mix. I mean, in an ideal world? To make this perfect, they should have spread the mix out to three discs (like Shin, Gi, Tai) so then you could have a nice overview of all of the different aspects of the "mo wax sound"

I finally had a listen today at work. I liked it - nothing ground breaking but still enjoyable.

I don't think any mix will top Time Machine, ever. So it must be tough to do a MW mix, knowing that beast is out there. In addition I think that TM is the perfect cap to the first phase of the MW catalog. Being the 101 release, it sits right at the end of the traditional downtempo and sample based material that the label is known for. After Time Machine, the label quickly shifted directions with a new direction. Introducing; South,Tommy Guerrero, and etc. *side note, did you know that Clinic was slated to sign onto MoWax? It would be nice to see Pabs and Paul reunite for just one last final all inclusive mix, but as we know, that ain't happening.

In terms of mixing - of course Time Machine is near impossible to beat. This tracklist was a bit Unkle-heavy and obvious for me. I must put on Time Machine later.
