unfortunately, i think this is quite impossible because i've heard lavelle say in an interview that UNKLE has always been "a dj thing, a sound system thing" not "a band". but I def agree that it would be ace if they figure out some kind of a live show. I heard that aswel. I love the unklesound side of it tho with the various re-edits esp nursery rhyme on androids, its a different side to things, Shivo is right there is no way you could get all them all in one room let alone a tour. The closest we are gonna get is probably the fabric live stuff and the ian brown tour. I think tho that Richard should grab the mic, I'd prefer to hear him sing in a state live instead of 2/3 different mixes.

I believe that the main problem for the live show, besides the huge number of vocalists and collaborators, is that most UNKLE tracks are er...don't know how to put it but they are more like studio tracks with flawless production, smth Lavelle and File both are very good at .so maybe they just aren't sure how this is gonna turn out live. however , i know a bulgarian band who did a cover of Be There live...So why not??

and would you be able to get Kool G Rap, Alice Temple, Atlantique Khahn, Richard Ashcroft, Badly Drawn Boy, Mike D, Thom Yorke, 3D, Josh Homme, Ian Brown, Joel Cadbury, Mani, Jarvis Cocker and Brian Eno all in one room??? i didn't say they should bring them all at once to the same place, i think there is enough tracks with Rich File's and may be Ian Brown vocals to make up a live set, or even if they didn't sing on the original released versions - why not doing it on the stage? Prodigy's Keith and Maxim didn't appear on the last album at all, but they are the performers at the live shows.... the main thing - is a wish to do so.. which, i assume, James doesn't have..

but didn't richard actually sort of strum the guitar and sing over instrumentals in some of the earlier UNKLE gigs? Like, I wanna say when they were in Australia?
I remember reading a review of the gig, and they got some track info wrong - that the mix of "I Feel Love" was by UNKLE and not Plump DJ's...
but they had photos of Richard playing the guitar....
but anyways, they need to release more mix cds; definately

I saw some pictures on inthemix page but it was the usual dj thing. As for the Plump Dj's remix of "I feel love", i got messed up with this after reading the review (maybe the same as you) and even asked a question about that remix on the old UNKLE board.

Hey, Could you ask James the correct listening order of " Do Androids Dream of Electric Beats"?
Do we assume 1)Shin 2)Gi 3)Tai from the animated short/tatoo order or do we go with my personal favorite, 1)Gi 2)Shin 3)Tai. or Shuffle... It's all about muslit disc shuffle.

Would be class though A one off gig james, rich and shadow plus colaborators and a live backing band, could hire out the albert hall and film for posterity or even a dvd perhaps, of course you wouldn't be able to get tickets for love nor money but would be class
