Has anyone got the new book yet? Is it any good? Depends which one you mean, there's been at least three in the past year! The big yellow one is amazing. It's really huge and very well made. That’s the one I meant. Is it a retrospective, with lots of images? Or more scholarly, with lots of text? I know about the upcoming Rizzoli one, but what is the third book?

Mostly pictures, but there are a few essays in there too.
The other books I referred to are gallery catalogues really. One for the Berlin show (which I have and is excellent) and another for the Singapore show (which I'm finding impossible to buy).
So the Rizzoli one is the fourth! I've no idea what that book plans to cover that hasn't been done already. Seems like overkill to me. Unless it's about his photography or something, that'd be cool.

I finally received my copy of 'Full Frame' yesterday. The quality of the book in terms of printing and binding is excellent. Exactly same as hardcover Rizzoli books like the Mo Wax urban archeology one. The book itself is 98% entirely images - there are only two written passages/essays (which are each only a couple of pages long) located at the beginning and end of the book. The rest of the book is just images of artwork, mostly one per page and with the title/year written underneath. There are lots pages where the left hand page has been left blank, which I don't mind.. but it does mean that technically the book is thicker than it should be because there is quite a bit of empty space. the breakdown of 'eras' is intro, 10 pages 1979-1989, 80 pages 1990-2009 66 pages 2010-2018 110 pages ending essay, 11 pages There are a handful of pages of Pointman stuff, some sketches which are cool but nothing mind-blowing. I don't have a copy of the 'old' Futura book published approx 2000 so I can't comment if there is duplication of those images used in this book too. Am I glad I bought it? Yes. Is it worth the AU$100? Yeah, if I think about it, yes it is.

The review on Amazon says that it’s a bit light on the 90s era. Do you think this is a fair criticism?

Hard to keep up with the Lenny drops recently.. mostly exclusive elusive. But not: Futura X Uniqlo 'Urban Walls' It's great to finally be able to buy a Futura drop! Even better is that this lot is affordable and can be picked up from a shop on my way home. This lot isn't quite as impressive as the last one, but still great that he does it.
