I met 'The Music' in Dublin a while back and they knew nothing of an UNKLE remix.

I met 'The Music' in Dublin a while back and they knew nothing of an UNKLE remix. Yeah, this was rumoured but never actually produced by James. On the last webchat James confirmed that there was an SS Hold My Hand Remix, but he didn't like it. Maybe we could nag Pablo for it along with the scary 80s Matchbox demo. We've missed the Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows (Unkle Re-edit), but I think if we combine the lists we're there. Also the list should just be all remixes. Whether they're labelled Surrender Sessions / Reconstructions / Rejigs / Refits really isn't important to me.

Maybe we could nag Pablo for it along with the scary 80s Matchbox demo. We asked Pablo about this at WFTE and he glazed over with terror... Guy McKnight must have summoned a demon into the studio or summat.

Nah, Beethoven's 9th was what became Trouble In Paradise...the Mozart one was what they did for the footie on BBC1...i don't think it had anything to do with Trouble In Paradise...i'm willing to be corrected though.

also - "Run [UNKLE Reconstruction] – The Headliners" Never heard of this? I think this was from not long ago, what some cheeky band put on their myspace but was then dismissed by UNKLE & had only had some mild tinkering by Aidan Lavelle or summat?!?! so can probleys be dismissed from the UNKLE Reconstructions list to be honest...

there are two versions of Frantic remix? - [UNKLE Artificial Confidence Reconstruction] – Metallica yea there's -> Frantic (UNKLE Reconstruction) 6:52 Metallica Vs Unkle Frantic (promo 12") 2003 Breakbeat Vertigo, FRANTICDJ1 (I just copied & pasted that from my iTunes) to over-simplify... it's basically in the same line as "Blackout" or "No One Knows" then at 11:37 in the "Open Up" aka "Where the Wild Things Are" aka "One World" Mix is the "UNKLE Edit" of Frantic which doesn't seem to have any "new" elements in the track, just reshuffled / edited bits throughout

for the sake of not confusing people, i tend not to count the reshuffled / edited tracks as remixes.

wasn`t there a UNKLE version of some classical stuff made for intro of the BBC football EM broadcast or something like that? ok, found it myself. it was this one: Dance group Unkle's version of a Mozart symphony has been chosen as the theme for BBC Sport's coverage of Euro 2008.
The interpretation of Symphony no. 41 will be illustrated by an animated title sequence produced by the BBC with Aardman Animations.
The choice of Mozart reflects the fact the event, which begins on 7 June, is being staged in Switzerland and the composer's birthplace of Austria.
ITV Sport is also using a Mozart composition for its coverage.
It will be using a recording of Queen Of The Night performed by soprano Natasha Marsh.
BBC Sport's opening sequence will feature animated versions of players from the English Premier League, including Christiano Ronaldo, Michael Ballack, William Gallas and Fernando Torres.
Founded in 1994, Unkle consists of brothers James and Aiden Lavelle and Pablo Clements.
They have collaborated with bands like Radiohead, Badly Drawn Boy and The Verve.
The group are currently in the middle of a UK tour.
