I will be in London next week. Ive recently started up my mo wax collecting habit again after a 20 year gap and im seeking some suggestions please for the best shops in London/likely to have some mo wax in stock. Ideally not shops that have a discogs presence because I have well and truly hammered that in the last 6 weeks!
I have a meeting in the Holborn area then its off record shopping!
thanks to anyone who can help with some names

Sister Ray on Berwick Street still had a Mo’Wax section last time I checked. Reckless Records on the same street should also have one. I also think that Tape & Record Exchange in Notting Hill would have some stuff.

I went digging in London about a month ago. Flashback records had a decent selection, I went to the one in Islington, but their websites suggest the other stores also have good stock. I found them to have better prices that the stores in Soho.

That’s why I went to Islington. About 5min walk from the tube. They had a Mo’Wax and Shadow section there. They had the limited Sad and Lonley 10” for £20. I think Sisterray might have had it for £40.

I was in Flashback in Brick Lane over the weekend. They had Rock On on 12 inch and I think it was an original. Also had the Global Underground vinyl promo which had the Doves remix which I think is pretty hard to get.
They also had Strictly Turntabalized for £50!

Thanks for the recommendations - sister ray had a few bits, nothing particularly special except for the unkle rock on promo which was in near mint condition for 15. I have never seen that before so I snapped that up! Reckless does still have a section but there wasn't much in there.

Hi everyone, I'm going to London in February. Just 9 hours. So I've just the time for 1 of 2 second hands record shops to find some Mo Wax digging. Are the names of the record shops above still relevant? I will not only buy vinyls this day. So, I am really looking for two addresses where the prices are correct and where there is a certain choice (especially in the first vinyls Mo Wax Swifty period). Thank you in advance for your answers and Happy New Year 2019

Flashback usually has a decent collection.
It's incidentally where I got all 7 of my "Mo'Wax Classics" from, when a bloke from Universal came in. I got them discount as well because my then girlfriend was working there!
