Oh yeah, that is a bit weird now you mention it. Mo'Wax was still going till 2003, so you'd have thought they'd stick with Mo'Wax. Maybe Ninja just offered a better deal.

Just checked my 1997 UK CDs of The Album and Muzappers, and they are both Solesides licensed to A&M, no Mo'Wax involvement whatsoever. They probably arranged it though the Mo'Wax connection, so when A&M/Mo'Wax split, Quantum were free to go wherever. My guess? They went Mo'Wax/Beggars for Spectum and Nia, but knew the arrangement between Beggars and MW was on the rocks by 2000. Or maybe James had just not been giving them the attention they needed. Either way, why not jump to Ninja for Greatest Bumps?
