As promised, here are some rips I made from some pretty rare tapes. Let me know what you think!
I know Dale Cooper has already ripped and posted a couple of these, but I reckon these 320kbps rips should be pretty good quality (not saying his are crap or anything). Link to everything: www.sendspace.com/filegroup/ev03%2FbhaV8M8GLrqKlUxjaLOIRbEqqcVNlpGXDaFOwI
DJ Shadow - Live at the Cockpit (Leeds 10-11-94) A weird one this that you ain't seen before! Josh spinning some nice hip hop classics pre-Endtroducing. The hand-written labels look strange, but the box label looks properly printed. Maybe it was a small run promo item for clubs or something? www.sendspace.com/file/n68wst
James Lavelle & Gilles Peterson - That's How it Is (One Year On) www.sendspace.com/file/qztjoh
Blackalicious - Nia Sippets www.sendspace.com/file/zeoq90
Warp Records - The Seven Year Glitch (Warp MC46) [All exclusive Warp tracks from Autechre, b12, Mira Cilax, Freeform, RAC. Really good!] www.sendspace.com/file/fyvo1d
Also ripped a few things I've found in my crates from a while back.
Blackalicious - Alphabet Aerobics (Live, Radio 1) Mr. Thing - Radio 1 Scratch Mix [SO dope!] Radio 1 - Anorak Quiz (DJ Shadow) [This is me doing a quiz live on Radio 1 all about DJ Shadow, just for fun] Radiohead - Creep (Live) Radiohead - Prove Yourself (Live) www.sendspace.com/file/ronlv6

Wow thanks for all these rips, the That's How It Is! promo stuff live is incredible stuff, lovin' it!!
BTW, why don't you add these to Discogs? Most are missing...
Last but not least, any way to get the full scan of the warp cassette please?

I agree the That's How It Is mixes are probably the best ones. Sounds damn good a for cassette too!
Keep meaning to add to Discogs, I will when I've got a moment.
The scan of MC46 from Discogs misses of a small section (detailing some future releases). I'll get that done at some point too.

Sounds damn good a for cassette too! Fucking right! I didn't realize that was a tape rip, if you didn't perform any significant level adjustment or applied noise reduction, I think the sound quality is at its best for a cassette! So many years after too. I so love it from the beginning, there's this use of the Star Wars sample at 5mn, until that Ravi Shankar on steroid stuff 12mn later! Impressive shit!!! Funny enough it didn't age, thanks to the crystal clear sound! Plus it warps me like eons ago when I was young and full of... Amazing feeling, so thanks for that Mo! My tape rip is hard to perform for some reasons, the tape player randomly stops when I play and the sound card doesn't record the sound direct from the source even though my settings seem correct and with use of the RCA cable. WTF you know?

Fucking right! I didn't realize that was a tape rip, if you didn't perform any significant level adjustment or applied noise reduction, I think the sound quality is at its best for a cassette! Just to clarify, one of the That's How It Is mixes is a cassette (1994) and the other is a CD (1994). You can probably tell which from the album art too. I didn't apply any sort of correction, or even EQing to any of the recordings. As long as the Dolby and tape-types settings were correct it sounded fine. I figured they didn't need any correction, plus you could probably fix that yourselves if y'all wanted. My tape rip is hard to perform for some reasons, the tape player randomly stops when I play and the sound card doesn't record the sound direct from the source even though my settings seem correct and with use of the RCA cable. WTF you know? Damn. Faulty tape machine? I suppose you've tested the deck with a less important cassette first? Have you successfully recorded from analogue sources before?
