Gamma almost always throw in a few CDs and stickers with my orders. Weird that they haven't sent out the special ones yet, but I trust those guys a lot more than I'd trust JL. That's damning with faint praise I realise.
I'll give it a few days and start nagging them.

it was delivered by Hermes (not as bad as Yodel but ..), so was actually waiting for me in my recycle bin when I got home from work.
i've not had a chance to read it yet but it was sealed in shrink wrap and no other extras included .. just the book, that's it!

Today is the first chance i've had to look at the book properly... To be honest i've only known Swifty for his work on Mo'Wax. It wasn't till I started flicking through the book that I realised how much other projects that he'd been involved in which cross over to some of my other interests. I love Hi-Fi, in particular Bowers and Wilkins/B&W having grown up in Worthing (their manufacturing base). As well as clubbing in Brighton in the mid 90's was when I first saw Blue Room loudspeakers in the Escape club. So I was kind of surprised to see the Blueroom name being dropped by Swifty in his book. Blueroom loudspeakers and their Trance/Ambient record label were only around for a short period of time and their early loudspeakers are hard to find and go into the thousands of pounds, i've been lucky to find a pair of HousePods and Technopods. I have to agree with Swifty when he says that what Blueroom did for Loudspeakers is what Apple did for Computing, they are stunning and such a bold move from the box shape cabinets of most speakers: Anyway I digress.. it's a stunning book, well worth the money. (i'm beginning to think I should have shelled out for the special edition!)

The MELT2000 shop in Worthing (Robert Trunz in the doorway). Swifty did the typo graphics for the MELT2000 logo. And the Escape nightclub Blue Room / B&W sound-system installation:

They've sent the email now at least (asking for my details). I don't mind Gamma's delays at all because they are still contactable. They also sent out those cool free Swifty prints a while back as a sweetener.
Really looking forward to the luck dip of cool stuff!
