Amazing. Cheers Dusted. Interesting how there was going to be a part 2 of the Magic Mike LP as well. Doubt these got very far into realisation though.

I think the problem with Mo'Wax was that it was a little a to forward thinking sometimes. Had the Booty Bass stuff been released about 5 years later it would have sold loads of copies. Same goes with the Liquid Liquid compilation. I've also heard stuff from the Jordan Fields album getting played out over the last couple of years.

Absolutely, JL has said in interviews that the Liquid Liquid comp sold very badly when it was released. It would have done incredibly well a few years later, especially at the peak of LCD Soundsystem's career. I need to get the new Liquid Liquid 3LP comp (Domino) as there's yet more tracks on that one.
Not heard much of Jordan Fields lately, but it's nice to know it's getting played (where was this by the way?). I didn't really like it when it came out, but have since rediscovered how good it is and have got more stuff by him.

I've heard the Jordan Fields stuff getting played in London and in Edinburgh over the last couple of years. Rush Hour put out a great 12" by Jordan Fields just before Christmas, I think? Just total drum machine grooves. That Liquid Liquid comp on Domino is not too bad. The additional tracks are not the best, if I remember correctly. I wish the version of Bellhead on the DFA comp had come out on a 12".

Well I wouldn't expect the 'new' tracks to be amazing, but I just like how it's presented with the 3 reissued original 12"s. Weird how their 4th 12" is always totally ignored. Is the DFA version of Bellhead a re-recording or something? I don't think I've ever heard it. Annoying how DFA always hinted something big was going to come with Liquid Liquid, then nothing happened.

It is a re-recording. It is a pretty tough version. I like it.

This is very cool. Thanks! Amazing. Cheers Dusted. Interesting how there was going to be a part 2 of the Magic Mike LP as well. Doubt these got very far into realisation though. Test presses exist of the Mike LP (pic above). But was never made further. Has anyone seen ads for the Sam Sever LP: "Something For The Head"? It was mentioned on the alternate artwork sleeve of MW031. Curious to know if it was mentioned anywhere else...

Test presses exist of the Mike LP (pic above). But was never made further. Wow, there can't possibly be more undiscovered Mo'Wax out there?! Where is that photo from, one of yours? As easy as it would be to fake that hand-written sleeve, I found a few sites that back it up. There's even a tracklisting here: www.allmusic.com/album/the-journey-era-of-bass-part-2-mw0000099493Has anyone seen ads for the Sam Sever LP: "Something For The Head"? Got that test print though.

No, its real. It is my copy. It never came with a track listing or any other info, so that link was very helpful, thanks! To clarify, I wasn't calling you a liar or anything. Is it a double LP? Who did you get it from? Let me know if you ever plan to sell it!

Who did you get it from? Let me know if you ever plan to sell it! oh no, I didn't think that. No worries. I believe it is either a double to triple disc set. I am not sure as I only have sides c/d. I'll have to cross check with that tracklisting you gave and see how it matches up. I got it ages ago, right around the time of its 'release' from a UK based collector who must have had ties with the MW camp. Wont be selling anytime soon, but thanks.
